Overview
Qatar University's strategy of international engagement is aligned on the State of Qatar leading role in international mediation and conflict resolution as well as support for education worldwide. In that perspective, it recognizes that our global reach enhances the success of this effort. QU prepares its students and supports its faculty to be actively involved and contribute in knowledge-based collaborations around the world.
The Office of International Affairs provides leadership and international expertise to ensure a coordinated and dynamic strategy for university-wide global engagement. To further Qatar University's international goals and to advance the university's reputation worldwide, the Office of International Affairs supports academic programs and international research collaboration by coordinating international partnerships.
The IAO assists in the international mobility of professors and researchers, guides students from abroad who wish to participate in an exchange program at QU, promotes the internationalization of teaching, strengthens collaborations with foreign institutions and engages in international cooperation.
The Office of International Affairs is part of the President's Office.
