Description

ITS Department provides hardware setup, configuration and maintenance of new/existing digital signage screen includes wall signage and/or door Booking Signage. Maintaining contents falls under the responsibility of the Communications and Public Relations Department.

Benefits & Features

Digital signage system is linked to existing QU exchange, where any QU employee will be able to reserve meeting rooms through email calendar.

Description:

Classroom Technology services provide integrated system for Staff, faculty and students of Qatar University to enable interactive education. Technology integration is the use of technology resources such as computers, smart devices, digital cameras, social media platforms and networks, the Internet, etc. -- in daily classroom practices.

Benefits & Features:

Enhance a variety of classrooms across campus with built-in audio\visual technologies and smart, friendly graphical user-interface, two laptops inputs, two audio inputs, document camera, HDMI & VGA interfaces, wire and wireless microphones, Lecture capture and video conferencing systems.

Access Request:

Classroom technology service are available for all University users. Additional services and access can be requested by submitting a request to ITS Helpdesk.

Providing best-fit solutions to accommodate large-scale events in big venues on Qatar University premises.

Access Request:

• Auditorium AV systems new setup: new setup service can be requested by submitting a request to ITS Helpdesk with dean’s/director’s approval
• Auditorium AV systems support: support service can be requested by submitting a request to ITS Helpdesk

ITS Department provides support for audio visual operations and setups outside Qu premises (hotels, conference rooms, etc.) as per Qatar university standards.

Benefits & Features:

AV support specialists can provide on-site support and operation for the workshop, conference, etc. by submitting a request to the Helpdesk.

Access Request:

Off-campus support services can be requested by submitting a request to ITS Helpdesk.

Service Exclusions:

All University AV devices are subject to approval/disapproval prior to taking out off Campus.

ITS Department provides services and drafts-out technical AV specifications for new rooms, classrooms, offices as per latest Qatar University ITS standards and end user requirements.

Benefits & Features:

• Provides solutions with latest and best-fit AV technologies to accommodate end user requirements
• Enhances the educational and teaching experience by deploying latest trend and best-fit technology.

Requesting AV specifications and requirements for new/remodeled buildings can be requested by submitting a request to ITS Helpdesk.

Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or logistics that are required by the project must be carried out by the vendors/suppliers awarded the project. In addition to requests that are not in compliance with Qatar University standards.
