The Institutional Quality Management section oversees the process of Administrative Unit Review (AUR), as this process is part of Qatar University's ongoing improvement efforts. In 2010, the Executive Management Committee (EMC) made the decision to review all administrative units at the university. A unit review policy was launched, and each unit is reviewed once every six years. The review process aims to create and promote an environment of excellence at the university, as it provides an opportunity to identify strengths as well as areas that need to be improved or otherwise addressed. The Administrative Unit Review Committee (AURC) provides managers with constructive views, comments, and responses in order to sustain, motivate, and improve the effectiveness of the services they provide. In addition, the review process is an important source of institutional information at QU.
