Departmental Scope
The Department of Institutional Research and Effectiveness supports QU’s vision and mission by maintaining and providing data, analysis, and reporting in order to inform decision-making. The Department oversees university-wide processes related to data management, policies, and accreditation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provides the university administration with data and information that support institutional planning, accreditation, policy formation and decision-making.
- Empowers QU to respond to strategic needs and new trends, through the use of institutional research and analytics.
- Leads and coordinates university-wide activities related to accreditation.
- Fosters a culture of Institutional Data Management to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Oversees the development and validation of institutional policies and guidelines across the university.
