CETL/DLOE-Coursera Learning Pathways (CDCLP)
A new opportunity for faculty professional development
In the context of a partnership between
QU and
Coursera, the eminent global online learning platform, a faculty development program has been created: The CETL/DLOE-Coursera Learning Pathways (CDCLP). The CDCLP program is coordinated by The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) in collaboration with the Office for Digital Learning and Online Education (DLOE).
Through this great opportunity, QU faculty members can join free of charge one of the offered learning pathways, which tackle various aspects of the academic profession (educational technology, teaching and learning, assessment, research, leadership, management and entrepreneurship). The available courses are offered by renowned universities (e.g. University of Illinois, Johns Hopkins University, University of California).
Upon completion of the chosen program, normally within one semester, the faculty member receives a certificate.
When all the requirements of the chosen track are fulfilled (track is completed), the faculty member receives a certificate from CETL for that specific track, in addition to the individual certificates that will be granted by Coursera for each completed course.
The structure of the CDCLP program is described in the "CDCLP structure and requirements " document.
