The course structure and the credit hours distribution of Master of Science in Computing are outlines below:
For the thesis option, the coursework must include the following study components:
- Core Courses 7 c.h.
- Concentration Elective Courses 12 c.h.
- Free Elective Courses 6 c.h.
- Thesis Research 6 c.h.
- Thesis defense 0. c.h.
For the project option, the coursework must include the following study components:
- Core Courses 7 c.h.
- Concentration Elective Courses 12 c.h.
- Free Elective Courses 9 c.h.
- Master Project 3 c.h.
- Selection of concentration elective courses must ensure that students take at least 12 credit hours in one concentration area only from either Computer Engineering (CE) or Computer Science (CS).
- The student must receive a grade of C or better to complete a course satisfactorily.
The Master of Science in Computing requires a minimum cumulative average of 3.0 for all courses in the program.
