Conference participation:

• Dr. Mohammed Faraj attended the Narrative Crisis in Libya Conference on May 6-7, 2023. 

ًWorkshop:

• Dr. Mohamed Khalaf and Dr. Mahmoud Ali Mahmoud Radwan participated in a training workshop for the employees of the General Authority for Juveniles Welfare on June 11-12, 2023.

Research and Academic Achievements:

1. Dr. Ali A.Hadi Alshawi and Dr. Chedli Baya Chatti published a study on digital generation attitudes towards work in the UAE Social Affairs Journal.  
2. Prof. Fuad Abduljalil Mohammed Al-Salahi published a study on leadership in pre-colonial Arab-Islamic society.  
3. Prof. Abdelsamad Mohamed and Dr. Chedli Baya Chatti published a chapter on Muslim Peoples and Water Security in a Springer book.
4. Kaltham Al-Ghanim conducted an ethnographic study on Contemporary Women in Qatar, published in an academic journal.
5. Dr. Yaser Snoubar and Prof. Yousif Mahdi published a study on the efficacy of university mental health services during the COVID-19 pandemic in a high-impact journal.
6. Dr. Ali Shakir Abdulaaiemah Al-Fatlawi published a study on healthcare workers' fear of death in quarantine centers for COVID-19 patients.
7. Dr. Hicham Raiq published an article on zinc and copper levels in relation to cardiovascular disease risk in Frontiers Cardiovascular Medicine.
8. Dr. Mohamed Faraj Saleh Raheel and Dr. Yaser Snoubar collaborated on a paper in BioPsychoSocial Medicine.
9. Dr. Sheikha Al-Kuwari published her first book on Arab Americans in the United States.
10. Dr. Ali A.Hadi Alshawi accomplished a study on global citizenship skills among Qatar University students.

Research Grants:

• Dr. Fatima Al-Kubaisi,Dr. Dr. Chedli Baya Chatti, Dr. Mariam Al-Kuwari, and Afrah Al-Otaibi received an integrated research grant on Qatari women's participation in the 2021 Shura Council elections.
• Dr. Tariq bin Hassan, Dr. Shadli Bih Al-Shatti, Dr. Mahmoud Abdulwahid, and Allan Villegas received an integrated research grant on expanding entrepreneurship in Qatar.
• Dr. Sheikha Al-Kuwari and Tahani Hussain Al-Shamari received a national capacity-building grant on cultural beliefs and postpartum depression in Qatar.

Research and Academic Achievements:

• Dr. Youssef Hassan won the first place in the Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani Educational Research Award.
