College of Education at Qatar University has proudly achieved its first International Recognition in Teacher Education (IRTE) on January 2, 2011 through the Center for Quality Assurance in International Education, in cooperation with the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
In 2016, College of Education at QU was granted recognition by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
In 2024, Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) granted College of Education at QU a probationary accreditation. The College of Education is currently working on meeting the following CAEP standards:
