The Foundation Program seeks to improve students’ skills in Mathematics and English before starting Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, Medicine, Education (Secondary Education with concentrations in Sciences only) and Business. The Foundation Program is a one-year experience with a provision for completion in a maximum of two years. To pass the Foundation Program, students must achieve a score of 70%.

There are two levels (Elementary and Intermediate), and each level consists of three non-credit courses.
