Educational and Training CPD activities
Section of Clinical Education and Training at the College of Pharmacy Qatar University is pleased to offer SPEP and PharmD preceptors with CPD credits based on their contribution in the education and training for pharmacy students. These CPD activities shall abide to the following regulations and procedures:
- Each certificate will have a certificate number that matches our record for tracking purpose.
- Site coordinators for SPEP program are credited 2 hours/rotation. If Site coordinators are also responsible for evaluation entry and submission on evalue, they will be entitled to 2 additional hours/rotation. The hours received by site coordinators are per rotation regardless of the number of students
- SPEP preceptors are credited 2.5 hours/week regardless of the number of students
- PharmD preceptors are credited 10 hours/rotation regardless of the number of students. For rotations run by 2 or more preceptors, the credit hours will be split evenly among co-preceptors
- CPD summative activities shall be communicated semi-annually, in January (reflecting activities from June-December of the preceding year) and in May (reflecting activities from January-May)
- These regulations are effective as of January 1st , 2021
