The Office of Research and Graduate Studies at the College of Health Sciences operates under the leadership of the Office of VP for Research and Graduate Studies at Qatar University. The CHS is a dynamic member of QU-Health Cluster 3 colleges, the research and graduate studies strategic objectives and goals function in synergy with the stated framework of QU-Health Office of Graduate Studies and Research. The graduate office’s ultimate goal at the CHS is to convey prestigious scholar findings among the national, regional and international latitudes, through which, advantageous research outcomes provide useful clinical and diagnostic solutions for various health issues such as diabetes, infectious and communicable diseases, metabolism and obesity, public health, epidemiology, bioinformatics, molecular diagnostics, cancer, cardiovascular, food science and nutrition. Within the period of 2013-2017, the CHS published more than 302 researches and earnt over 142 grants. The graduate programs offered at the CHS including MSc in Biomedical Sciences, MSc in Genetic counseling, Mater of Public Health and collaborative PhD in Biomedical Science are benchmarked programs that were designed carefully to fulfill the components of goal 4 Research Excellence stated by QU strategic plan 2018-2022.
