The Pharmacy College Admission Test by Pearson is a specialized test that helps identify qualified applicants for pharmacy colleges. It measures general academic ability and scientific knowledge necessary for the commencement of a pharmaceutical education. The test contains six sections:
- Writing
- Verbal Ability
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Reading Comprehension
- Quantitative Ability
Candidates will see unofficial scores immediately after the test. Within 5 weeks following the end of the testing window, the Official Score Report will be available online for 1 year from the date of the test.

Registration and Test Fees:
Qatar University is a center for PCAT which serves QU admitted College of Pharmacy students and the wider community. QUTC announces the specific test dates on its website.
For QU students, the College of Pharmacy at Qatar University collects the fees and provides the candidates the link to enter the details required for the test. After the confirmation of the candidate’s details and payment, QU requests the test provider to schedule the candidates. Non-QU applicants can register for the test online.
Test dates and the timing information will be provided to candidates once the registration process is completed by the Pearson Registration Team and posted on QUTC website.
Score Info: After verifying that no irregularities have occurred that could have affected an examinee’s performance, and after the candidate’s essays have been manually scored, Pearson provides personal Official Score Reports to the candidates.
