Q: I applied to the College of Medicine (or Dental Medicine) and I cannot take an English Exam. Can I take the ACCUPLACER English test?
A: ACCUPLACER English is NOT accepted by the College of Medicine and Dental Medicine, and the English exam is one of the requirements for these colleges.
Based on the current circumstances, candidates applying for the College of Medicine and College of Dental Medicine have to take the TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition Test if they don't have a TOEFL-IBT or IELTS valid scores.
Please register for this exam ASAP. This exam is currently available around the clock every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday through June 30, 2020. Please click here for more information.
Q: Can a student take the placement test after admission decisions, especially for the college of medicine?
A: Placement tests will be available after the admissions decisions for all colleges.
Q: I took the IELTS test but did not receive the certificate due to the current situation. How can I submit or send the certificate to the Qatar University Test Center?
A: QUTC will not be accepting hard copies of the test reports on campus until QU opens for students. Kindly contact us at qutcsupport@qu.edu.qa if you are not able to collect the hard copy of your test score report from your test center.
