The Laboratory Animal Research Center (LARC) in Qatar University is state of the art modern lab animal vivarium and Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) facility. Moreover, it is one of the first ever-modern vivarium in this region. The vivarium has the capacity of 4000 Individual Ventilated Cages (IVC), dedicated wash area and large autoclave, automated watering system, automatic cage and rack washer, biosafety changing station and Biosafety level II cabinets. It provides high quality laboratory animal models, ensures humane care and use of all laboratory animals used in the animal research.
