The Atmospheric Sciences Laboratory deels with the composition of the lower troposphere, the local air pollution and the global climate. The laboratory uses highly-tuned analytical instruments in laboratory experiments and field campaigns to identify the sources of the air pollution and to understand its post-emission history driven by physical and chemical atmospheric processes.
The Atmospheric Science Laboratory focuses in the fields of air quality monitoring, aerosol research with health effect and climate change implication, atmospheric dispersion, chemical transformation and deposition modeling, as well as source apportionment determination.
