Qatar University is the first national educational institution for higher education in the State of Qatar. Since its inception in 1977,Qatar university has sought to provide high quality education in various scientific fields using the latest international standards, striving to provide many leading scientific research participations, in addition to community participation aimed at promoting volunteerism, leadership and civic responsibility.
The Community Service and Continuing Education Center (CCE) identifies and meets the training needs of the public through specialized training programs, in addition to preparedness programs for professional and international certification, enabling the greater community to benefit from the expertise, experience and resources available at the University. Our programs and training courses are offered in both Arabic and English, depending on the nature and context of the respective course. CCE offers different language programs: General English, Arabic, French, Turkish, German, Korean, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, Chinese and Farsi.
As a leading provider of non-academic programs in Qatar, CCE collaborated with more than 244 organizations in Qatar and has provided more than 52000 training hours to 26000 participants in over 1700 courses, including 56 internationally-accredited professional certification programs during the academic year 2013-2024.
Since its inception, CCE has collaborated with QU academic departments to provide bespoke continuing education courses and training workshops. These training programs have gained the recognition of the community as reflected by the growing demand for more course offerings.
The Community Service and Continuing Education center has maintained the ISO 9001 certification for quality management systems in recognition of its continuing commitment to quality and excellence in management operations, in line with market demand and in support of Qatar National Vision 2030, as a part of CCE’s commitment to lifelong learning and customer focus.
For the academic year 2024-2025, Community Service and Continuing Education Center will be offering trainings in both face to face and distance learning mode.
