The Legal Skills Department was first established at Qatar University College of Law in the spring semester 2018, to be the only department that holds this name in all the colleges of Law in the Arab world.
The Department aims at enhancing the legal skills of students through a number of courses including legal Writing, Law Clinic, Moot court, Externship, the incorporation of experiential learning in different courses, in addition to the labs offered by CLAW in 6 courses: Introduction to law, Criminal Law, Commercial Law, Criminal proceedings, commercial procedures and contracts.
