Scientific publishing is a requirement for all faculty members. The college produces 80-100 publications every year; this includes articles, books and book chapters. Faculty members aim to publish in Arabic prestigious journals, as well as indexed international journals. The college is also active in producing books that are used in teaching in the college. All books approved for teaching are peer reviewed and published by the Qatar University Press
Research grants
Faculty members submit research proposals to obtain internal grants from Qatar University, besides external grants mainly funded by Qatar National Research Fund. One of the most important grants that faculty members receive is the students’ research grants, which promote the scientific research culture among the students and they result in producing short articles within one semester.
Textbooks
LAWC faculty members contribute to enriching the local legal library in terms of excellent textbooks that achieve high quality in education in accordance with the characteristics of the Qatari law, as well as containing varieties of educational outputs matches with the learning outcomes approved in the college and with the diversity of the followed teaching methods.
