Two scopes of innovation:
Innovative design of well-articulated framework: The consortium functions based on the data collected through an annual assessment of national occupational demands, databanks, outcome measures, and business partners feedbacks. The projects are endorsed by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and grants the students between 30- 145 community service hours depending on their level of achievement. In addition, its design is replicable considering other careers and focus groups in other regions of the world.
Innovative content: The pedagogy of the learning activities is rich with hands-on applications in Bacteriology, Genetics & Molecular Biology, Hematology & Blood Bank, Clinical Chemistry, Immunology, Virology and Tissue Culture, Research Design, Pharmacology, Medicine, etc. and perform unlimited specialized techniques such as gel-electrophoresis and PCR. The students are also asked to submit innovative projects through the advanced levels of the educational activities or continue with research externship where they join a scholar in a research study.
