Competition Summary
The competition takes place between December 2014 and April 2015 of the academic year 2014-2015. The K-12 award category is divided into four categories.
First: KG – 4th
Second: 5th and 6th
Third: 7th – 9th
Fourth: 10th – 12th
For each category there should be one team per school; Teams - Up to 10 students and a teacher for 1st Category, and Teams - Up to 3 students and a teacher for 2nd, 3rd and 4th Categories.
Each participating school need to submit a project for each category. Submission can be:
- Performance
- Posters
- Essays
- Research Projects, Modules
The Judges will present at the Judging event 15th March 2015 and evaluate all participating schools projects and the winning projects will be announced at the closing ceremony on the 9th of April 2015.
Guidelines
Each school will choose a gas related topic to present, schools must submit their projects to QU before the 10th of March. The evaluation of the schools projects will start on
15th of March and the winners will be announced on the 9th of April. The following points must be considered:
The project submitted by school must be relevance to topic (Gas & Gas Processing)
- Innovation
- Objectives
- Clarity of the project idea
- Methodology
- Clear procedure and understanding
- Execution of the project
- Technical Content : Clear understanding of technical contents
- Project Outcome/conclusion
- Project impact
