Course Description
English Integrated Core: Elementary is a beginner/elementary-level to pre-intermediate level integrated-skills course that aims to help prepare students to study in an English-medium academic environment. The course develops reading, listening, writing and speaking skills to a pre-intermediate level using a variety of reading and listening texts as well as written and spoken tasks. These are also used to develop necessary subsidiary skills in grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Classroom learning is reinforced with a course-long project, encouraging collaboration and use of appropriate ICT in order to promote learner autonomy and self-assessment.

Classroom learning is reinforced with a collaborative project as well as a variety of integrated tasks using appropriate ICT whenever required in order to promote learner autonomy and self- assessment.
