The workshop series 'Higher Education Issues in the Gulf' represents a collaborative endeavor between the Gulf Studies Center at Qatar University and the Chair of the State of Qatar for Islamic Area Studies at Waseda University. This initiative aims to serve as a platform for in-depth dialogue and analysis of critical challenges, significant concerns, and common dilemmas encountered by higher education institutions throughout the region. It seeks not only to identify these issues but also to explore and formulate effective strategies for addressing them.
