The Office for Digital Learning and Online Education (DLOE) is QU's governance and cross-organizational arm for executing ambitions and strategic directions for digital learning and online education, as set in its Transformation Strategy. As part of its mission, DLOE aims to create digital learning environments that engage learners actively through high-quality content, distinguished faculty, global communities, and renowned industry leaders, strengthening QU's higher education position.

Quality and Inclusion
1.1 Develop and maintain digital learning and online education related policies and procedures.
1.2 Ensure quality of digital learning and online education.
1.3 Assess and evaluate digital learning & online education experiences and initiatives with a particular focus on student learning experiences.
Integration and Modularity
2.1 Support QU initiatives by developing, adopting, and testing promising digital learning and online educational technologies to advance teaching and learning.
2.2 Engage with interested QU departments, labs, centers and other units at QU to integrate digital learning technologies into the curriculum.
2.3 Organize training programs / certificates, seminar, workshops, events and conferences on digital learning and online education (onsite and online).
Research and Innovation
3.1 Investigate new and emerging digital learning and online education technologies and explore opportunities for their addoption to support education at QU.
3.2 Develop plans for the incubation, early implementation and transitioning of delivery systems to long-term core service providers.
3.3 Establish links with colleges and departments to monitor emerging innovations and IT needs.
