The Institutional Planning and Performance department has two sections—the Institutional Planning section and the Institutional Performance section. The department is responsible for the following:
- Building the university strategy.
- Developing policies and procedures for strategic planning and performance.
- Managing the overall performance of strategic execution across the university.
- Facilitating strategic execution by providing the required tools, such as guidelines, templates, data sheets, software, and working sessions.
- Communicating strategic performance results with other departments and addressing shortcomings by discussing ways to remedy them.
- Evaluating the execution of the university strategy, by measuring and monitoring key performance indicators at the strategic level in order to ensure that all targets are met.
- Reporting the performance of the overall strategy on a regular basis to help QU management make correct, well-informed decisions.
