- High Schools: minimum 70% average for public school graduates.
- All students must enroll in the program full time.
- Male & female students can enroll in this program.

Undergraduate Admissions
Major Declaration
- Students can apply for admission into the program (declare their major) after they fill in the application form and define five options, pass EDUC 312 with a minimum grade of C, pass one of the following courses (with a minimum grade of C): ARAB 100 or ARAB 200, with a minimum overall GPA 3.0/4.0 or higher, and achieve a total score of not less than 3.00/4.00 on the professional traits inventory in EDUC 312. If he/she achieves less than that, he is to be referred to the Support Unit. Admission into the program is competitive and in accordance to absorptive capacity.
Graduation Requirements
- An academic degree is awarded to students who complete all program degree requirements with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 while in good standing.
- Students graduating from the B.Ed. in Special Education must successfully meet all University and College of Education graduation requirements (program checkpoints).
