Student Status
Students admitted into the combined five year accounting program are considered as Undergraduate students until they complete the undergraduate program requirements and are then moved to graduate status.
All undergraduate and graduate academic policies (e.g. Academic Dismissal, Academic Probation, Academic Reinstatement, and Course Repeat) are applicable to admitted students.
Progression Requirements
Students admitted in the combined five-year accounting program are expected to maintain a satisfactory level of performance during their matriculation into the program. The progression requirements listed below need to be maintained. Students who fail to maintain the program progression requirements will be dropped from the combined five-year accounting program. In this case they will continue their BBA (Accounting) program only. Once a student dropped from the combined five-year accounting program, he/she cannot re-apply again.
- Students should maintain a minimum GPAs of 3.0 for each of the BBA (Accounting) and MAC programs during their matriculation in the combined five-year accounting program.
- Students enrolled in the program will be subject to QU Undergraduate Academic related policies and procedures.
- Students enrolled in the program will also be subject to QU Graduate Academic related policies and procedures. The Office of Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies, in collaboration with the office of the Dean of Graduate Studies and Research, will be following up with these students.
